I liked the 'voodoo slant' it had, it by no means is 'bad' but it's just basically another drug baron fest with the usual ''characters'' all macho burly men and blabla yea whatever. I disliked the wannabe-edgy, tightly-wound cliched plot of FC3. Far-Cry 3 appears to be aimed at teens, Far Cry 4 is the far more understanding, grown-up affair. The facts are that it's a totally different storyline (and wow, what an Epic stage you are set here). The mainstream trend are the people that cry out that this game is ''FC 3.5''.
